Before launching Neil Rossetter Travel Services, I spent over 20 years running a high-trust ground transport business — coordinating time-critical journeys for pilots, flight crews, and VIP clients. It was a role that demanded precision, discretion, and sharp logistical judgement.
I looked after people like Gaz Coombes, Katie Price, Peter Andre, and players from Brighton & Hove Albion. Expectations were high — and that taught me what true service really looks like.
🏖️ A rooftop realisation in Barcelona
It was a friend’s birthday break in Barcelona — and he just happens to have three decades of experience arranging high-end travel. We spent hours by the rooftop pool, talking about how the industry really works: the behind-the-scenes negotiations, the supplier networks, and the difference trusted relationships make.
That conversation lit a spark. Not long after, I enrolled in the IATA Travel & Tourism Foundation Diploma, followed by the advanced Consultant Diploma, and trained on the Galileo GDS platform used by airlines and professional agents.

An extended family were set to fly to Barcelona when, just days before departure, a seven-year-old boy broke his leg and couldn’t travel by air.
Instead of cancelling, I found a way. I persuaded Jet2 to allow his sister — just nine years old — to fly solo, accompanied by her aunt on a separate booking. Meanwhile, I rebooked the injured boy and his mum on a 37-hour journey via coach, ferry, and train — ensuring they joined the holiday after all.
It took determination and hours of coordination — but it worked. That’s what makes the difference.
